In 2001, Meniscus and
Paques BV entered into a partnering contract to enable Process Engineers at Paques to
remotely monitor the treatment performance of an installation
anywhere in the world using IPMS. This ensures timely adjustment of
the installation, correct maintenance and operators can be advised
on the optimal method to manage the installation. The most important
advantages of this service are reduced short and long- term
operational costs, the minimisation of possible operational risks,
an extended operational life of the installation and improved
customer service by remaining in regular contact with the customer
post installation.

Since the early 1980's, Paques has been

Background to the Partnering
Contract
Paques run IPMS
from their offices in Balk, The Netherlands. During the first years
of the partnering contract, Meniscus personnel worked with Paques IT
experts to develop IPMS further and to integrate it into Paques
existing IT systems. Since that time Paques and Meniscus have
continued to share development ideas and to further develop the
features and functionality of the system.
