Meniscus has developed a new Mobile Data Capture application for Windows CE phones (version 5 and above).

 

This application lets users enter data and download and view trends of any parameter monitored in IPMS. The Meniscus Mobile Client has both an on line and offline capability so data can be downloaded when a mobile signal is available. If the user then has to enter data from a remote location with no mobile signal then they enter the data in offline mode and then upload it once there is a signal.

 

With the graphing function field operational staff have instant access to performance information giving them the ability to see the impact of the most recent changes to their processes.

 

IPMS Mobile is an excellent tool for simplifying data capture. Combined with the performance monitoring capabilities of IPMS this allows companies to maximise the value of the data they collect by incorporating this site data into their cost and performance calculations in real time.

 

The Meniscus Mobile Client is available as a free add-on to any customer using the Meniscus IPMS performance management service.
