Meniscus has successfully embedded its powerful real time calculation engine into Serck's SCX SCADA application to deliver a powerful combination of data collection and real time performance monitoring and benchmarking for the Water and Utilities industries.

The calculation engine is wholly integrated within the SCX system and calcualtions can produce results which drive changes to plant operation, or which produce alarms to plant operators. The calculation engine allows data to be recalculated when, for example, new analytical data becomes available or when the calculation itself is changed.

 

Meniscus DataItems are fully configured from within SCX using a simple form and are integrated into the SCX database. They work with the SCX Template structure  for rapid creation and maintenance of common calculation and visualisation applications. Calculated data can be trended and alarmed just like physical data.
